April 2026 Workshop - Selecting Nursery Stock for Bonsai

The April workshop will be outing to the Ammon Nursery and Reminiscent Bonsai, both in the Florence/Burlington area of Northern Kentucky.  This free workshop will focus on how to select great nursery stock for bonsai.  We will be discussing what to look for and which features are important when examining trees in a nursery setting.

The workshop will begin promptly at 10am at Ammon Nursery.  Gloves are recommended as we will be handling trees and moving soil around in their pots.  At noon we will leave Ammon Nursery and travel to Reminiscent Herb Farm for the reamainder of the workshop, which is only around 2 miles away, to view trees there and talk more about aftercare.  The worksop wraps up at 2pm so you may wish to bring a bag lunch or snack.
