BSGC Monthly Meeting - August

For the August monthly meeting, we will have a presentation on suiseki, the traditional Japanese art of appreciating naturally occurring or shaped rocks. The word "suiseki" means "water stone" in Japanese. Suiseki are not just ordinary stones found in nature; to be considered suiseki, a stone must possess a distinctive shape, color, and texture that conveys expressive beauty and evokes a sense of natural wonder.
