BSGC Monthly Meeting featuring Will Baddeley

For our April meeting we have a unique opportunity to learn from one a leading bonsai artist from Europe.  Visiting with several North American clubs from his home in the United Kingdom, Will Baddeley will join us for a demo at our regular meeting and will also lead a workshop on Saturday. April 22 from 10:00am -2:00pm.  Additionally, individual club members are invited to schedule private consultations with Will on Friday. About Will B.

After obtaining his first bonsai on a whim from a local petrol station then failing to keep it alive, Will plunged headlong into the adventure that is bonsai and continues his learning quest to this day.  After joining a local club, he was entered into the 2001 New Talent Competition.  He won and was sent to represent England in France the following year where he placed 3rd.  Now a celebrated artist who presents and teaches throughout Europe and North America, Will enjoys all aspects of the art and is especially renowned for his skills carving deadwood and for his advocacy with utilizing native species.
