Penjing (Tray Landscape) Workshop for Members

There are two timeslots - register for either the AM or PM sessions.

Cost: $85

Participant Responsibilities:

• Plant Material Subject & Accent (Mini Hosta, sedum etc.)
  
  • vigorous deciduous trees that ramify well, such as Chinese Elm, 
  • Chinese elms and Sageretia work very well for this technique,
  • any deciduous tree that back buds extensively could also work.
• Container, 
• Rocks
  
  • It might also be interesting to incorporate stones and other small plants into the composition
• Soil
• Muck
• Tools
• Wire
• Epoxy for tie-downs

NOTE: Orders for these items must be placed before midnight on 3/8.  We do not ship items.  Pickup info will be sent out once our order is received.  There is a 10-piece minimum for our entire order of the $135 penjing kits.  If we do not get 10 orders for this, we will have to cancel that part of the order and refund your purchase price.

  • 6-9" Granite Slab (may exceed 9")
