Judy is an active member of BSGC and a member of the Dayton Bonsai Society.  She has traveled widely to study the art of bonsai by attending workshops and seminars.  She has entered her trees into national, regional, and local shows.  Bob Hill was a member and past president of the Dayton Bonsai Society.  He gifted the bougainvillea to Judy and she then donated it to the Krohn collection.
