2026 Krohn Show Info Hub
Get your trees ready because the BSGC Fall Show at the Cincinnati Krohn Conservatory is fast approaching! Here you will find all the information you need about the show.
The show runs Saturday and Sunday, October 3rd & 4th, 10am-8pm.
Agenda
- Show Setup and Tree Dropoff - Friday, October 2nd, 10am-8pm.
- Aaron Burger Photography will be on-site Friday to photograph all show trees as they are brought in
- Live Demo by artis Jennifer Price - Saturday, October 3rd ,10am-2pm
- 1-hour Beginner's Intro to Bonsai - Noon-5pm both days. We need two people to teach these so please email president@cincinnatibonsai.org if you are interested.
- New Talent Competition - Sunday, October 4th, 10am-2pm with judging from 2-2:30 and winner announcement immediately following.
- Show cleanup and tree pickup - Monday, October 5th, 10am-2pm (you can still pick up your trees until 8pm)
- Hour with the Expert Sunday, October 4th, 10am-2pm.

Want to get expert advice on your own tree(s)? Register now for an “Hour with the Expert” on Sunday with Jennifer Price, 10am-2pm. It’s BOYT and cost is $100/hr. Register at Jennifer Price Hour with the Expert

We need volunteers to help make this show a success!
- Help set up on Friday, 10/2
- Work as docents at the show both days
- Help tear down Monday, 10/5

New Talent Competition
Show your new bonsai skills by participating in the New Talent Competition!
- Sunday, 10/4, 10am-2pm
- Open to members who have been practicing bonsai 5 years or less.
- Cash prizes will be awarded, and participants keep their tree!
